Melini, in Tuscany since 1705, has been making Chianti for more than three centuries and was among the first wineries to introduce the world to and fall in love with Chianti. Melini has always aged its Chianti wines in large barrels where the Sangiovese matures slowly and brings out its characteristic fruit and violet notes. In this magnificent property, there are four farms characterized by completely different terroirs from whose grapes derive wines with different and very distinguishable aromas and flavors.
