The property of the Cavicchioli family, the Estate and the Winery, which take their name from the castle with the same name belonging to the old proprietor, Colonel Umberto Faglia, are located at Calino (Cazzago San Martino) in the province of Brescia in the heart of the Franciacorta DOCG production area. The hilly land, situated 300 metres above sea level, of morainic origin and very stony, enjoys an enviable exposure and microclimate. About 17 hectares of vineyards cultivated like gardens are composed exclusively of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes with a minimum part of Pinot Nero.
