Amarone

Made in the hilly zone of Valpolicella, Amarone represents the top of Verona wines and is one of the stars of Italian wine production. With a unique and unparalleled technique, selected grapes are picked by hand and then laid out to age on special small wooden trays for 100 days before being transformed into wine in the frozen depths of winter. But the wine obtained from this is warm with notes of wild-berry preserve and intriguing spices. Excellent with braised meats, game and stews.
