Rapitalà is an authentic name, it comes from the Arabic (Rabidh-Allah “river of Allah” for the stream which flows through the vineyards) and testifies that this land has been cultivated since antiquity. Through the centuries generations of farmers have shaped its current form and the identity of the estate. The Tenuta Rapitalà Spreads over 176 hectares of vineyards in the area which slopes down from Camporeale towards Alcamo, on gentle hills between 300 and 600 metres high, on ground where clay and sand alternate. This ancient ground is dominated by a landscape of vines which continuously follow one after the other and form a geometry of lines which the sun and the colours of the Mediterranean transform into golden hills. The vineyards are Rapitalà’s most precious patrimony, realised due to the passionate labour and great love which, for more than 30 years, has bound man to his vineyard. The philosophy of Rapitalà requires excellent and technically perfect but, above all, unique wines which retain the flavors and scents of the Sicilian terroir, without neglecting an elegance of taste satisfying even the most refined of palates.
