The château has belonged to the Durand Teyssier family since 1920. This ancient vineyard dates back to the 15th century and surrounds a charming 18th century château. The vineyard in the Montagne appellation covers around 25 hectares on a clay/limestone hillside to the north-east of St Emilion, and in the early 1990s received considerable investment, with much work done in the vineyard and the cellar. This wine has complex aromas of spices, black fruits, grilled hazelnuts and woody notes. Fine tannins. Beautiful length in the mouth with balance and finesse.
