The 2015 season was memorable for the above-average temperatures and scant summer rainfall. The volcanic soils typical of Vulture are able to retain humidity and this led to excellent vine growth and development. The dry weather during harvest gave the clusters more time to ripen and enhanced the wine’s structure and complexity.
