MERLOT - MERLOT Collio DOC

Merlot Collio DOC stands out for its excellence, crafted from the well-exposed vineyards of San Floriano del Collio. This intense and glossy red wine is the result of meticulous winemaking starting with cold maceration of destemmed and crushed grapes. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with frequent pumpovers to extract color and polyphenols. After malolactic fermentation in barriques and large oak casks, Merlot ages for 12 months, developing an intense aroma of raspberry, black cherry, red berries, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, harmonious, with an elegant undertone of wild berry jam, while the herbal flavor becomes even more harmonious with aging.
