The name Conti D'Arco comes from the noble family that owned the medieval castle, which from the cliff of Arco dominates the vineyards of the basin between Lake Garda and the Brenta Dolomites. The hills that extend into this area were chosen for the selection of fine vines as early as the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Very picturesque are the vineyards of the lower Sarca Valley and the Valle dei Laghi: around Castel Toblino, on the lake of the same name, as well as at the Sarche di Calavino and down to the fortress of Arco, the vineyard dialogues with the shapes of the land, recalling exotic sensations with a Mediterranean flavor.
