light, fresh, aromatic
Sauvignon Collio DOC represents the pinnacle of Sauvignon Blanc, cultivated in terraced vineyards rich in marl and sandstone in San Floriano and Zegla. These distinct locations impart unique characteristics to the wine: San Floriano offers depth and structure, while Zegla contributes aromatic finesse. Handpicked in early September, the Sauvignon undergoes partial cold maceration to preserve its distinctive aromas, followed by brief aging in large oak barrels. Pale yellow with greenish reflections, the wine exhibits an intense aroma of passion fruit, nettle, sage, and boxwood, with a fresh taste, balanced acidity, and a persistent mineral finish.
