The "Alto” Nero d’Avola is made from the grape of the same name grown at an altitude of about 550 metres above sea level. This is not the usual Nero d’Avola but the superlative result of the return to the most ancient Sicilian tradition: with a dark ruby-red colour it is also striking for its marked fruity notes and great rotondity and sweetness.
